MarketLink, which started as a program of the National Association of Farmers Market Nutrition Programs (NAFMNP), is now managed by the Farmers Food Assistance Bureau (FFAB). MarketLink's core mission remains the same: to make it easier for farmers and markets to accept SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits along with all other federal nutrition programs.
Since its founding in 2013, MarketLink has been helping over 3,000 farmers and markets accept electronic payments. This has resulted in over $104 million in SNAP sales and $63 million in credit/debit sales, for a grand total exceeding $168 million.
As of January 2025, MarketLink continues to expand their reach and impact under the management of FFAB.
